Meet Our Coaches – Shamrock Spring Elementary School – Jodi Dubovich

Hello, Rocks families! My name is Jodi Dubovich and I am the Instructional Coach at Shamrock Springs Elementary. After graduating from the University of Louisville in 2005 with a Master of Arts in Teaching, I accepted my first teaching job at Goshen Elementary in Kentucky. This community was very similar to Westfield which proved to be valuable when my husband and I moved to Indianapolis in 2008.

Jodi Dubovich – Supporting within the classroom.

For the last 10 years, I have been a teacher at Shamrock Springs, eight as a 4th grade teacher and two as the Instructional Coach. In 2013, I received the IU Armstrong Teacher Educator Award.   The Armstrong award enabled me to partner with IU faculty and undergraduates by guest lecturing and participating in panel discussions on various education topics. It was through the Armstrong experience that I realized my passion for curriculum and instruction.    In 2016, I completed an Educational Leadership program at Indiana University. When Westfield decided to add an instructional coach to each building, I knew this could be an amazing opportunity for our district to grow our community of learners.

“Fostering a safe & trusting environment with a focus on confidentiality and building relationships.”

I am very lucky to be able to work as an Instructional Coach at Shamrock Springs; an elementary school  with a dedicated staff with a passion for all their students. I love sharing amazing SSES teacher and student  work on Twitter; follow me at @mrsdubovich.
