Meet Our Coaches – Washington Woods Elementary School – Jessica Miller

“My favorite part about being an Instructional Coach is seeing all of the great teaching and learning happening in my building and across the district.” Jessica Miller

Hi! My name is Jessica Miller and I am the Instructional Coach at Washington Woods Elementary School. I grew up in Dublin, Ohio and moved to Indiana to attend Butler University. I graduated from Butler in 2008 and I am currently working on my Masters Degree (Elementary and Middle School Math Specialist) through Ball State University. I started my teaching career in Zionsville Community Schools in 2008 and taught there for 9 years. During that time, I taught third grade, second grade, and served as my building’s STEM Teacher/Coach. I was very excited to start a new journey in Westfield as an Instructional Coach and am enjoying my second year in WWS!

My favorite part about being an Instructional Coach is seeing all of the great teaching and learning happening in my building and across the district. I love spending time in classrooms and supporting the teachers and students in our building. I have also enjoyed growing as an Instructional Coach through training in Cognitive Coaching and Student-Centered Coaching and by learning from my Instructional Coaching team!
