A message from Kyle Miller, WWS Coordinator of Social & Emotional Learning.
We are very excited to welcome back our students and families for the 2020 – 2021 school year. Excitement and anticipation are mounting as we rapidly approach the start of school, much like it does every year around this time.
However, with all the uncertainty and in the midst of the anxiety, fear and stress, there is one thing I know for sure. As educators and a school community, we are here to support you and your family. We are ready to partner with you to collectively identify the needs of our students and families and then collaboratively work to meet those needs.
We wanted to spend a few minutes with you to share some of our thoughts and ideas that might be helpful as we all approach the start of school. We want you to know we are here for you and we stand ready to welcome you and your child back to school. I’m going to turn it over to a couple of my colleagues with the video above to discuss several ways you can navigate the uncharted waters as we return to school.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
